Two New Journal Titles Available on Project MUSE.

The electronic resource ‘Project MUSE’ is now allowing full-text access to two new journal titles, they are:

Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion. (issues available from 2005 onwards).

Catholic Historical Review.  (issues available from 2000 onwards).

You can access the journals from the library – electronic resouces pages via Portia.    If you have any problems please let me know.

New Book on Saint Richard of Chichester!

You may be interested to learn about the release of a new ’Otter Memorial Paper’ entitled ‘Richard of Chichester (1197-1253)’.   Edited by retired lecturer Paul Foster, the book comprises of a preface by John Hind and includes essays undertaken by the David Jones, Mike Stone, and Rachel Moriarty.  Copies of the book are available to borrow from the library (isbn 9780948765421), or can be purchased at the library counter (priced £10.00).

Christian Heritage and Bible Exhibition

For those interested there is an exhibition “showing the history behind the Christian heritage of Britain”.  On display will be many theological books including some sixteenth century bibles.  

The exhibition is taking place in Providence Chapel, Chapel Street, Chichester from 23rd to 27th June (Tuesday to Friday 10am – 5pm and Saturday 10aam to 1pm).  Admission is free.
