If you are currently researching the Reformation, or any point in British History between 1509 and 1714, you may be interested to learn that we have arranged a free trial of a new electronic resource. Entitled ‘State Papers Online: the Government of Britain 1509 – 1714′, the resource allows access to over 900,000 manuscripts of both Domestic and Foreign State, and include the ‘Registers/Minutes of the Privy Council’.
The trial lasts until the 23rd April, 2009. If you would like access to the database please contact either myself, or the Subject Librarian for History.
